I just wish that I had a closet! My room is big, bright and wonderful; however, storage is a huge issue. I have TONS of books and have an entire wall of shelves on which to store them, but as for everything else… sigh! I'm anxious to see all the tips shared here. THANKS so much for posting this photo.

Ahh I love all of those shelves! I only have shelves under my windows, and then the rest is just blank walls and bulletin boards . . . for my 2 stand alone closets, though, my secret and tip is LABELS OUT! haha It makes for easyyy finding what you need on the fly! 🙂
Thanks for hosting, friend 🙂

I have lots of shelves in my cupboard, so I have labeled each one based on a curriculum area. Not the best use of space, but it gets the job done!

Learning to be awesome
I don't have a classroom closet anymore, so I would say it is important to maximize any space that you do have. Your closet looks AMAZING and I can't wait to use your anchor chart hanging idea!

Teaching Ever After
Your anchor chart hangers are my favorite! I am so lucky to have a workroom attached to my classroom for storage. It is a dream closet! I am definitely going to try the rods for my anchor charts next year!!!
Great job organizing! I try to keep as organized as possible by attempting to keep up with the paperwork that come up each day. I find that if I don't let that pile up I have time for other small things each day.

I had a closet last year. This makes me want to cry I miss it so much!!!!!!!
Love the shower rod for displaying anchor charts! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
I had a ton of workbooks and folders and packets if a new kid showed up and they were all over the place. I now have a mailbox sorter in my closet and all those things are labeled, so now when someone says hey do you have that poetry unit handy, I just look in alphabetical order on my sorter and there it is I have about 37 tupperware containers as well! 🙂

I store my paper in magazine boxes that are laying on their side. It keeps them tidy, and makes pulling out the colour you want easy.

LOVING your organization. Want to come to Oregon and do a little closet cleaning. I actually love to organize my closets at school. I do it every year at the beginning of the year. It stays that way for a few months… 😉 I am all about magazine holders and clear bins for everything! Love this link!!! I promise to link up next week. (I already posted a really wordy post today. ha ha)
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have a classroom closet!! Storage is so tough! I have a lot of stuff and keeping it organized is always a task, when you don't have much room! I definitely love organizing and am all about the binders, bins, baskets, and drawers! It's a never ending cycle! Your closet is a dream!
I agree with all of the above posters…LOVE this linky! Thank you!!!

A Kindergarten Life For Me
I am trying to organize, and reorganize my closet all the time!! The stuff that is in there gets used so infrequently, I know it is not a great use of space! Right now it stores all of the textbooks, and workbooks that were ordered that we don't use!! I would love to be able to store those somewhere else, but that isn't an option right now!

LOVE your organization! We don't get a lot of closet space so this makes me wish I did so I could be more organized. I too love your anchor chart idea! I may have to use that in my classroom. I currently have my anchor charts hanging by clothespins. I may have to get a shower curtain for them though. Genius idea! Thanks for this linky too! It's simple and so helpful! Thanks again!
