This pack includes 15 reading comprehension songs for your poetry binders, fluency practice, reading notebooks, shared reading poems, and more! Each song is set to a familiar tune, and your students will LOVE singing along and building fluency as they review the teaching concepts for these important comprehension strategies and comprehension skills. These songs make perfect introductions to your mini-lessons or comprehension units. In my classroom, we add them to our poetry binders while we are learning about each comprehension skill or strategy. Students love these fun, engaging, and memorable reading songs! They also make great performance material if you’re looking for something fun to sing or perform for events such as family literacy nights, classroom reading celebrations, and school-wide reading events!
