How can I use this during distance learning?

Assessing your students decoding and phonics skills is easy with this No Prep Assessment Binder! Display the student copy of the assessment by sharing your screen during your video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) You, as the teacher, can have the paper copy of the Teacher Assessment page in front of you. Record right on your paper copy as your student reads and decodes the words on their screen. Sharing your screen allows the students to access the word list while you assess as you normally would in your classroom.

These NO PREP binders will provide you with data and assessments at your fingertips! Bring convenience and intention to your small group instruction! Each binder includes three assessments per skill! The binders contain a wide variety of assessments and difficulty levels, so that you can choose the assessment that best works for your students’ needs. Coordinating progress reports are included for every assessment. These simple and effective progress reports will help you identify if a child has mastered a skill, or, if the child is in need of additional re-teaching, practice, or intervention! FULLY EDITABLE TRACKING SHEETS are also included in zip folders for each assessment binder. Whole class tracking sheets are available for every section of the binders. Editable Student Tracking Sheets are included to record student scores throughout the year. The Student Tracking Sheets are great tools to bring to conferences, IEP meetings, data meetings, and RTI meetings. Blank templates are also included if you would like to add names and scores from school and/or district assessments, or create your own custom and unique student tracking report. The math and ELA assessment binders are exceptional for kindergarten and first grade classrooms. In addition, second grade teachers may wish to use these resources to assess math and decoding skills at the beginning of the year, in order to set up small groups and/or identify at-risk students.
