Wordless Wednesday July 29th: Crafting Craziness!
Thanks for joining me for another Wordless Wednesday! I LOVE looking at all of your pictures each week! If this is your very first Wordless Wednesday, I’m going to post the rules again. Remember, your picture can be about anything and all you need to do is post a question that your followers can comment on. 🙂
By the end of the week, I may very well give my husband an anxiety attack with the amount of glitter that is currently covering our kitchen table. I’ve been crafting up a storm this week! I’ll be blogging about all of my creations on Friday. I can’t wait to show them to you! 🙂
My question: If the sky was the limit and you could make anything you wanted for your classroom, what would you make?! (Mine would be a colorful coffee bar, complete with a barista and chai tea lattes during Writer’s Workshop.) #agirlcandream
Link up your picture with us below! 🙂
I would make a mani-pedi shop or gym in the teachers lounge. My lunch and specials run back to back so I could eat and work out. I'd take my stuff home that I normally do at that time. 🙂 can't wait to see your crafts!!
Okay…. I love your coffee shop idea. For my classroom, I would want to find a way to bring the beach inside. It's so relaxing and calming, and honestly – my kids need that a lot haha. If we're talking about for the teachers, we could definitely use a spa. I mean… honestly it would help everyone if the teachers could get away during our break and have a quick massage. Goodbye stress, hahaha

Dirty Hands & Lesson Plans
I like the idea of a gym at school for teachers and a coffee shop. I think I would create a full library in my classroom…I'm a book hoarder!

Creativity to the Core
Hi Christina! Hmmm… I often find myself wishing I could have an outside portion to my classroom. I had a friend in Santa Barbara who had part of her actual classroom outside. Really neat… though not so practical for Michigan, I suppose 🙂
Kidpeople Classroom
I love your idea! I would love a reading loft that would fit several fun reading nooks!
I love all of the glitter!! I love that your husband lets you craft at the dining room table too!! My husband told me to take all of my stuff to school! 🙂

I would also make a kind of book loft – with lots of pillows and a see-through curtain-tent. 🙂

Mrs. Spangler in the Middle
I would love to add in enough furniture and space so that lit stations could all have their own little table and area in the classroom. I'd also add in a mini bar so I could have my Diet Coke stashed in a fridge for easy access!

Team V's Second Grade Fun
I'd love an enormous classroom library from floor to ceiling–complete with the rolling ladder!!! I'm thinking back to the scene in Beauty and the Beast right about now.

More Than Math by Mo
How about just more room? Can I build that?! I always feel crammed and would love a bigger classroom!

I love the coffee bar idea! I think I would make a giant craft area and stock it with loads of supplies from Jo-Ann's & Michael's.

Fit to be Fourth
Looks like you've got a lot of great project going on!! Can't wait to see the finished product!! If I could have anything at all in my classroom, I would have a dual-purpose machine that both sharpened pencils all by itself and also created gluesticks. Two problems solved in one!! 🙂
Warmest Wishes, Erin from Kindergarten Dragons
I would love some ipads! One for each student with unlimited access to the the best educational apps!
I agree with Katie! I would love to find away to bring the beach (my happy place) to my classroom!
The beach is the current theme in my room, now only if I could feel as relaxed in my room as I do with my toes in the sand!! <–Wishful thinking!
