School Lunch Idea Pinterest Pick & Version 2 Story Problem Pack

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  In Ohio, it was hot, hot, hot!  Chris and I went to a beautiful wedding yesterday for one of my co-workers.  Although it was an extremely hot outdoor wedding, it was wonderful and she looked so gorgeous!  We spent today trimming our hydrangea bushes and washing the cars.  I start back up at coaching this week so I am hoping it cools down.

Until I really start to get back into my classroom this week, I have been struggling on things to share with you until I found this great pin on Pinterest. This is my Pinterest Pick of the Week, since I forgot to post on Wednesday! 🙂  I’m sure we can all relate to having to pack our lunches everyday.  I know I certainly get tired of the same thing day after day.  So I was excited when I found this pin and link that has hundreds of lunch ideas that do not include a sandwich.  Click the picture to take you to the website and start planning your healthy, yummy school lunches for this year.

On another note, I finally finished the second version of my story problem pack: A Year of Story Problems for Math {With Addition & Subtraction Regrouping}.    You can find it in my TPT store by clicking {here}.   This pack is geared toward second and third graders.  Each month includes 2 addition problems and 2 subtraction problems that require regrouping practice, and 1 multiplication or division problem.  Each month also comes with a student cover page if you would like to turn them into a mini-packets for your kiddos.   This would be a great product to print out and stick in a binder so that you have an instant year-long story problem program to use for your class or intervention group!
You can download the preview file to read more about the product, which comes with a free September story problem by clicking the picture below! 🙂 Enjoy!
Tomorrow I’m going into my classroom to paint my big wooden bookshelf and start unpacking all of the boxes I moved at the end of the year.  For something a little different, I’ll send this story problem pack for free to the first 5 people that leave me a comment with your favorite thing to pack for school lunches. Remember to include your email address. 🙂
Happy Summer!

  2. That beats the pants off of peanut butter and jelly! It's all about presentation. That picture is inspiring!

Big fans of salads made the night before but hold the dressing and put the cheese in the corner so it doesn't get mushy. Little container of dressing and shake right before you eat-all set!
