Our spring break fell the week before Easter, so my kiddos and I barely had time to get through St. Patrick’s Day, let alone do any Easter activities. Thankfully, my kids do not mind doing an activity after the holiday is over – as long as it’s fun! This is an Easter scoot game that I’m using with my class next week to review double digit addition. (Some of my kids still need practice seeing a horizontal, double digit number sentence and writing it vertically in order to solve.)
I filled enough plastic eggs for the students in my class with addition facts and a few “Take a Break” cards. Students will scoot around the room and practice double digit addition (without regrouping) problems on their recording sheets. They *love* any game of scoot so I know they’ll have fun!
If Easter lesson plans are over for you, grab the freebie and stash it away for next spring. It will only be available in my store for a limited amount of time!
