I’m typing this post quickly because I’m getting ready to leave for another full day of training. I’m taking a 2 day training to become a Mentor Teacher for new teachers who come to our district. This year, I won’t have a formal RET (resident-in-training, as they are calling the new teachers), because the teacher I’ll be mentoring has already taught kindergarten for a few years and is now at our school in first grade – yay!
So to make this short and sweet, I’ve linked up with Farley from Oh’ Boy 4th Grade to bring you my Currently for this month! 🙂
Listening: My Scotch laminator MAY overheat from using it too much. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Loving: I am almost done with my classroom! I can’t wait to take pictures and put the finishing touches on everything. After going back and forth a bazillion times, I decided not to do a theme after all. I went with colors similar to my blog – I’m loving the way it looks! 🙂
Thinking: House Hunters Northeast Ohio is currently off the air for the time being. I’m frustrated from sitting in cute cafe’s for hours waiting for House Hunters to give each of the houses I like cheesy names so I can choose one. I’m exhausted from all the phone calls and voice mails I’ve made to Property Brothers, and I’m tired of leaving my house to go out to dinner every night so that Renovation Raiders can break in and decide to update my kitchen. In case you’re thinking of adopting my house-search plan, none of these attempts have worked. So my sweet husband and I have decided to postpone House Hunters Northeast Ohio until spring. I’ll tell you when it’s back on the air. 🙂
Wanting: This needs no explanation. I <3 summer.
Needing: This picture will explain the need. My peek-a-poo has turned into a miniature lion. I’m almost afraid the groomer on Sunday will call the zoo and ask if they’re missing a rare breed of an animal.
Back to School Must Haves: 1) I stocked up on colorful binders at the dollar store the other day. I have no clue what each of them are for but I figured everyone needs lots of binders…right? 2) I’m headed to the mall Sunday to get some back to school clothes. If you haven’t heard the latest news, back to school shopping is not just for students. 🙂 3) During the first week back to school, I’ll need caffeine. Lots and lots and lots of coffee.
With that being said, I’m off to Starbucks to grab a cup on my way to this training.
