States of Matter for Kids!

I almost forgot what summer as a teacher felt like until today.  Before the wedding I was running around like a crazy person.  Today it officially felt like summer vacation!  I slept in, made a cup of coffee, and sat on the porch with Weston.  We live right on a lake and one of my favorite things to do in the summer is sit outside by the water.  It’s so peaceful.

Tonight I want to share my latest TPT product with you, States of Matter for Kids! {A Unit on Solids, Liquids, and Gases}.    States of Matter was one of my favorite science units to teach when I taught first grade a few years ago and I can’t wait to teach it again this year.  It lends itself to so many fun experiments.  I had a lot of fun creating this and can’t wait to use it with my firsties this year.  Here’s some pics so that you can preview what’s inside:

This unit, along with the rest of my TPT store, is 15% off until midnight tonight! I will also send this unit for free to the first 5 people who post a comment with their email address.
Tomorrow I’m spending the day with my teacher friends from my previous district and school.  I haven’t seen some of them for so long!  As a result, I’m also off to bake a few dozen mini cupcakes to bring over as I babysit my brother-in-law’s puppy, Penny, for the night.  She is a ball of energy and Weston is not too happy about her being over!

Happy Summer!
