Making Applesauce! & A Freebie (Long Overdue)
This month is flying! There is so much I want to share with you but cannot seem to find enough time in the day to post it all on here. These past few weeks have been busy with apples, owls, and Halloween. This is long overdue, but tonight I’d like to share with you some pictures of our applesauce day! My first graders had so much fun.
First, we all helped chop and get the apples ready.
Then, we loaded all of our chopped-up apples into the Crock-pot. We added sugar, water, and cinnamon. Our room smelled delicious!!
This weekend I decorated the house a bit for Halloween. Of course, I didn’t forget to decorate Weston as well…. He was NOT happy with me! 🙂
Stop by later this week to check out pictures from our owl unit!
Happy Learning! Have a wonderful week,
You've been BOOed! Have fun and pass it along! In fact, I had to share your Halloween Literacy Pack with my readers! Check it out: http://thehappyteachertpt.blogspot.com/2012/10/ive-been-booed-fun-october-linky.html
Yum! I can almost smell the applesauce here! And…of course Weston looks adorable 🙂
