June Currently!

I’ve linked up with Farley for June’s Currently linky. 🙂
I’m listening to and loving this view!  I’m also loving the fact that I’m not dealing with anything cheerleading-related this summer. Yay!!! 🙂  It is a very weird feeling to know I’m going to go home from our vacation and have nothing but vacation to think about haha (Of course, I AM thinking about all the TpT products and teaching to-do’s I want to get done).
Have you heard of this book?  A friend recommended it to me so I am reading it this summer, as well as doing the devotional study that goes along with it.  So far, I love it! I don’t feel very “drained” and “stressed” from teaching like the book description talks about, but I do think the book helps to emphasize God’s purpose for teachers and gently reminds us of the important role Christian educators have.  The pictures will take you to the Amazon link.
Wanting…to move down south one day? Maybe!  Every year, I hate the snow and the cold of Ohio more and more.  It would be so nice to live in mild weather and not have to scrape ice off of my car every morning before school. 🙂
Needing…to finish these powerpoint presentations on Tips & Tricks for the Daily 5 and Teacher Blogging.  I give my workshops on June 18th and 19th.  I’m so excited! I love sharing ideas with other teachers – it’s truly a genuine passion of mine – maybe equal to teaching the kids. 🙂 Here’s the cover for my Tips & Tricks slideshow.  I still have to work on the Teacher Blogging one….and submit by Thursday! Prayers I get it done haha! 🙂
My 3 Vacation Essentials:
My new Vera laptop tote, my laptop, and sundresses – love, love, love!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my June Currently! 🙂  Today we are headed to a winery and then we’ll be off to visit some family friends who live down here for the evening.
Happy Learning,

  1. Wow what a gorgeous view! I wish I was hearing the sound of waves instead of the sound of rain. I am on my way to add that devotional to my Amazon wishlist! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love that new Vera pattern and have the bracelet in it! I am also adding your suggested books to my Amazon wish list, they look very helpful!

  3. Enjoy your vacation! I would love to move to the South someday too. My brothers are moving down in a few months and I will definitely be visiting them a lot! There was just wayyy too much snow in New England for me this year.
