Goodbye Classroom…(Before & After Pictures!)
Tonight I decided to clean out the memory card of my camera while I was making a slideshow of our inventions. I was having way too much fun looking through all of my old pictures! I found some adorable pictures from my first grade classroom but I will save that for another day.
Our wonderful technology teacher dropped off some boxes for me the other day because I will be moving rooms when I switch back to first grade next year. I’m soo excited to teach first again but I will admit I was a little sad yesterday when I realized I have to pack up my current room.
Take a look at my “Before” and “After” pictures of when I moved into my current classroom, Room 135, just two years ago! There is nothing more fun to me than putting a classroom together from scratch and I’ll get to do that again this summer! I know some people dread this but how can you not have fun designing and playing around with a fun and colorful layout for your room?!
What an awesome makeover! I love it. 🙂

Hey! I am taking two classes this summer, but depending on the details/date, I'd be interested in an Ohio get-together. 🙂 Thanks for popping by! I'm excited to find a new blog!
Love your room and the built in cubbies for the kiddos! I miss having those! I'm moving this year too! I'm heading to fourth and looking forward to setting up my room as well. I had to move schools/grade levels days before school started last year and never really loved what I did.
Loved looking at your pictures!

Where did you find the bulletin board decorations?
Hi Cheryl! Which bulletin board? Some I made myself and others I purchased from teachersclubhouse.com. 🙂 thanks for stopping by!
Where did you get the banner? I love it!!
Beth, I got them at Shindgz Party Store online 🙂 They have all kinds of cute ones! 🙂
I’m doing a Hollywood theme this year.. can you explain how your “Box Office Behavior” B.B. worked? Thx
It used to work just like a clip chart but instead of going vertically up and down the chart they moved to the different popcorn boxes. 🙂
