Before & After Pic & Tropical Paradise Theme Kit

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Mine was jam-packed.  On Saturday, I held a fundraiser car wash with my cheerleading squad.  The entire day, it looked like it was going to start pouring at any minute.  Thankfully the rain held off and the girls raised close to $400 in about 3 hours!  They worked hard and we all felt very blessed to be a part of such a supportive and caring community.  As a staff member, I was very touched by everyone in our district and community who came out to generously give to our team.  The girls were in great need of new travel bags for this coming season (their current bags do not even zip shut and are ripped all over), as well as helping to pay extra fees from their spirit packs that I left out to keep costs down for their families.  With the money they raised, we will be able to cover everything for the coming football season.  Yay!  My husband came and helped us with the car wash, too.  He even dawned a red and white polka-dot cheerleading shirt for the day haha!  He was horrified ecstatic and very happy about that!  ðŸ™‚

After the car wash, Chris and I made a quick stop to my classroom because I’ve been complaining to him about the horrible mess of wires that were around my desk and computer.  Chris used to work as a computer tech in high school and is a pro at organizing that kind of stuff.  Remember this picture from awhile ago?
I mean…really?!?!?
Thanks to my wonderful new husband, here’s what it looks like now:
SO much better!  ðŸ™‚
Last night I uploaded a Tropical Paradise Classroom Theme Kit that I’ve been working on for my room this year.  I wasn’t going to post this to TPT but I figured if it was already created, someone else might want to use it too! 🙂  It’s bright & cheerful.  I can’t wait to use it this year!
Here’s what is included in this zip folder of 8 PDF’s:

You can grab this for your own beach/island/ocean/tropical theme by clicking {HERE}.
I will send this Tropical Paradise Classroom Theme Kit to the first two people who leave a comment with their email address.  ðŸ™‚
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Learning,
