Halloween Writing Pack!

I attended a Lead Teacher Literacy K-5 meeting tonight about the Common Core and our new state changes.  Tomorrow I will be out of the classroom for another Language Arts committee meeting about the Common Core.  Let’s just say that my mind is spinning from everything I learned and took in!  I promise I will share about these meetings with you tomorrow. Until then, I want to show you my newest TeachersPayTeachers product, a Halloween Writing Pack {With Craftivity!}
I will be using these activities with my little monsters in a couple weeks as we prepare for Halloween! This pack is filled with over two weeks of writing activities for your students. It also includes an adorable little descriptive writing craftivity that I love to do with my kids each year, narrative writing and planning pages, differentiated writing paper, a handwriting & song activity, punctuation, describing words, a personal word wall, and much, much more! Check out the preview pictures below:

This pack is currently in my TpT Store for $4.00.  Wait! I will give this pack away {free} to the first 8 followers who leave a comment (with their e-mail address) telling us about the most creative kids’ Halloween costume you’ve ever seen. 🙂
Mine? My best friends’ nephew is dressing up as a washing machine this year.  It was his idea, which makes my heart melt. He is autistic and loves machines & learning about how things work.  His mom is trying to figure out how to make a washing machine costume, (The last we heard, they are not flying off the shelves at Walmart…) so I found this picture tonight for ideas.  Too cute!

  1. I saw a child as a package of Jelly Bellies…similar to the grapes above, but with colored balloons and a clear garbage bag to hold them all.

    I so need a costume idea…got any good ones for adults?

  2. I love your pack! I know Im number nine but I I thought I would share! A little student of mine dressed up like a padded wall! He put bubble wrap all over him and then his mom covered it with a sheet! I am not sure what he was thinking but he thought it was funny! Then a little girl dressed up like a peacock. It was gorgeous. The mom made the whole costume using tons of feather and glitter!!! although she couldn't sit that good it was so pretty!
    Love following all your units, they are so good!
